During the peak of summer when heirloom tomatoes are at their best, why get complicated? Heirlooms, olive oil and garden fresh herbs are all you need for a delicious summer salad. The taste is incredible and the wide variety of colors from green to yellow and purple with add life to your dinner table.

I have never had heirloom tomatoes. Do thedifferent colors have different flavors?
This recipe sounds great, I also have a similar recipe, the difference is add onion and celery (chopped) sprinkle a little vinegar over them. Cheese is optional.
Heirloom tomatoes not only differ in color & shape. They deffinitely differ in flavor! All are so much tastier than supermarket purchased. They originate from many different places in the world. Go experiment and you will be so glad! I purchase my 2x2 plants every year from an online source for a bit over $.00 each, WELL worth what they grow to and harvest.
